Peter Woolley OBE DL
Peter has led Gundersen Bucher Rugman - GBR Search's Not-for-Profit practice since 1997 and has an in-depth knowledge of the sector covering charities, professional bodies, trade associations and similar organisations as well as the public sector in general. He specialises in senior appointments and has been particularly successful in attracting high calibre candidates with commercial experience to a wide range of roles in the Not-for-Profit sector. He also recruits in the commercial sector, concentrating mainly on financial services, IT and senior security roles.
Peter's early career was in the Army and included running a major personnel division, commanding the airmobile brigade, various international operational and security roles and several years in Whitehall. He subsequently spent five successful years as Chief Executive of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons - the governing body of the veterinary profession - before joining Gundersen Bucher Rugman - GBR Search.
